Boston, Massachusetts.

Ah guys, let me tell you, Boston is one of my favorite cities. I have always had a thing about New York City but lately Boston is coming in a very close second! Boston has awesome restaurants/bars, architecture, shopping, and of course lobster rolls, duh. I have been to Boston many times but this most recent trip was the first time I went whale watching there. When I was around 7 or 8 years old, my mom and aunt decided to take my cousins, sister, and I on a whale watch in Maine, oh my gosh what a nightmare that was. We didn't see any whales, we were under a tornado watch while on the water, and a ton of people on the boat were sea sick. Frankly I didn't want to go whale watching ever again but my friend really wanted to go so I gave in. This time definitely wasn't like before, as you can tell my first experience was rare. Everyone should really put whale watching on their bucket list because it was truly beautiful! On average, a whale watching trip should probably take about 3-4 hours. On our trip we saw a mother and her baby, a couple seals, and some other whales. By the time we got back on ground we were starving. We went to one of my sister and my favs for lunch, Stephanie's on Newbury. It's on Newbury Street. Oh my goodness, the food, the atmosphere, and presentation is just perfection here. I had a cobb salad, my sister had a salad with baked goat cheese, and my friend had grilled cheese with avocado. Everything was fabulous! I also had a martini made with Stoli strasberi, lejay cassis, and pineapple juice. We had perfect weahter so we were able to sit on the patio. I absolutley love Newbury Street! There is some amazing shopping on this street. If you love Tj Maxx like I do, there is a huge, two story Tj Maxx on Newbury Street. Then of course there are some high end designers on this street such as Gucci, Chanel, and Prada as well. Unfortunately, we only had about a day and a half in Boston so I didn't get to go many places on my "list". I wanted to go to Acorn Street, Top of the Hub, Tatte Bakery, and Fromage just to name a few. Although, we did get to a tavern that I was dying to try out called Bukowski Tavern. We had a late lunch at Stephanie's so we just went to  Bukowski's later that evening for a drink/appetizer. We split the white trash tater tot poutine, ahh it was just as good as I assumed it was going to be. It was perfectly crisp tater tots with beef gravy, a spicy cheese sauce, and green onion on top. It seriously was heaven. The only things to remember with the Boston location, it's 21 and older and cash only. Let me tell you guys, this place is worth a shot. Another thing to do while in Boston is, of course go to the Quincy Market. There are some shops and places to get good seafood. Boston Chowda is heavenly. They have seafood chowders, lobster mac and cheese, and lobster rolls.
