Fall.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the colorful leaves, crisp fall air, apple picking, comfort food, everything pumpkin, and of course the fashion. Some of my favorite fashion go to's are over the knee boots, plaid, duck boots, corduroy skirts, chunky scarves, leggings, and sweaters. I recently did  a small photoshoot with a couple of my current favorite outfits.

This romper below is from Marshalls and the brand is One Clothing. Some of their clothes runs a tad small but I actually bought a small in this romper and it fits perefctly. I love the fall colors and with a pair of booties, it's darling.

My next outfit consists of over the knee boots (I acutally bought last year from Nordstrom), a black bodysuit, and a corduroy skirt which both are from Marshalls. I personally love the way bodysuits look. The only thing that is extremely annoying is buttoning them but with the right pair of pants or skirt they look fabulous. This corduroy skirt is super cute and from marshall.  It was only 15 dollars, you cannot beat that! Plus it is a perfect fall color. You can also add a cute pair of sunglasses or some jewelry to make the outfit complete.

Some Essentials for a Hot Day.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Summer! I decided to do a blog post about a few of my favorite things while trying to beat the heat. I recently bought this adorable bathing suit from T.J Maxx, of course haha. The brand is Cabana Del Sol. My sunglasses are Ray Ban. I personally love aviators, I think they are very classy yet stylish. My fedora is from Forever 21. I actually bought it on clearance a couple years ago and it's one of my favorite summer hats. My sunscreen is Alba Botanica. I love this brand! It's not tested on animals, no artificial colors, fragrances, and parabens. This brand sells more than just sunscreen. They sell shampoo, conditioner, masks, cleansers, deodorant, and a lot more. Many stores sell this brand but you can also buy their products online. My sparkling water is La Croix. You wouldn't think you can taste the difference in sparkling water but after you try this brand you don't want to go to go back to anything else. It's truly amazing! They have so many different flavors. They have grapefruit, lemon, apricot, mango, and coconut, just to name a few. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Boston, Massachusetts.

Ah guys, let me tell you, Boston is one of my favorite cities. I have always had a thing about New York City but lately Boston is coming in a very close second! Boston has awesome restaurants/bars, architecture, shopping, and of course lobster rolls, duh. I have been to Boston many times but this most recent trip was the first time I went whale watching there. When I was around 7 or 8 years old, my mom and aunt decided to take my cousins, sister, and I on a whale watch in Maine, oh my gosh what a nightmare that was. We didn't see any whales, we were under a tornado watch while on the water, and a ton of people on the boat were sea sick. Frankly I didn't want to go whale watching ever again but my friend really wanted to go so I gave in. This time definitely wasn't like before, as you can tell my first experience was rare. Everyone should really put whale watching on their bucket list because it was truly beautiful! On average, a whale watching trip should probably take about 3-4 hours. On our trip we saw a mother and her baby, a couple seals, and some other whales. By the time we got back on ground we were starving. We went to one of my sister and my favs for lunch, Stephanie's on Newbury. It's on Newbury Street. Oh my goodness, the food, the atmosphere, and presentation is just perfection here. I had a cobb salad, my sister had a salad with baked goat cheese, and my friend had grilled cheese with avocado. Everything was fabulous! I also had a martini made with Stoli strasberi, lejay cassis, and pineapple juice. We had perfect weahter so we were able to sit on the patio. I absolutley love Newbury Street! There is some amazing shopping on this street. If you love Tj Maxx like I do, there is a huge, two story Tj Maxx on Newbury Street. Then of course there are some high end designers on this street such as Gucci, Chanel, and Prada as well. Unfortunately, we only had about a day and a half in Boston so I didn't get to go many places on my "list". I wanted to go to Acorn Street, Top of the Hub, Tatte Bakery, and Fromage just to name a few. Although, we did get to a tavern that I was dying to try out called Bukowski Tavern. We had a late lunch at Stephanie's so we just went to  Bukowski's later that evening for a drink/appetizer. We split the white trash tater tot poutine, ahh it was just as good as I assumed it was going to be. It was perfectly crisp tater tots with beef gravy, a spicy cheese sauce, and green onion on top. It seriously was heaven. The only things to remember with the Boston location, it's 21 and older and cash only. Let me tell you guys, this place is worth a shot. Another thing to do while in Boston is, of course go to the Quincy Market. There are some shops and places to get good seafood. Boston Chowda is heavenly. They have seafood chowders, lobster mac and cheese, and lobster rolls.
